I said my final farewell to my best friend Elena a few days ago. Her passing is still somewhat unreal to me, but I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to fly to Fresno and be with her family, husband, and friends to celebrate her life and say good bye. The healing has begun, and the memories are making it a much easier process. I know there are going to be tough days ahead as those very memories bring to life her absence from my own life.
She was a loving and caring friend, who will be missed by so many people.
My hope to is to dedicate myself to loving life, appreciating every day, and to share myself and my love with those who are in my life that are most important to me.
Rest in peace my friend....I love and miss you so much....
