When you need a great cup of tea.....

I love tea....not as much as other beverages, but on hot winter nights, tea just makes the cold disappear.

I received a #frostvoxbox to try products for free - who doesn't love free stuff???

One of the products was a Candy Cane Lane Celestial tea - YUMMY!  The hint of peppermint was refreshing.  It's a green tea which I just love!!  I will repurchase if this holiday tea is still available.

LOVE IT!!

Bucket List - for a friend

My good friend Elena passed away suddenly in December 2009.  Her death impacted me in ways I still have no idea how deeply.

Today while cleaning off my computer, I found her bucket list.  I have my own personal list of things I want to do before I die....Ii think most people do.  Reading hers, I could literally imagine her doing those things if she'd been given the chance.  Obviously there are some I won't be able to accomplish for reason out of my control, but I think there are several that I can do in honor of her.

Here's the list.  The one's with a star *, I am going to try and do for her.  Friendship doesn't end with death.  Their spirit and love carry on with us until our last day.  Elena meant a lot to me.....It's an honor to do this for her.

2015 - It's here!

With the holidays past, I feel that I can breathe once again.  We had the most amazing celebrations with our kids and friends, but as always they're stressful.

But that's over and the new year has begun.....

I decided that I'd set goals rather than attempt resolutions.  I resolve to admit, I never stick with them.  So I've set goals, small and large.  I'm a goal oriented person so this path seems more feasible than trying meet resolutions that are meant to fail....usually by January 31st.

This year is going to be filled with both family and personal goals.  There is no time limit except for setting dates for events.  I'm confident 2015 is going to be an unforgettable year.

Goals are as follows and are in no particular order.  I'll meet you here at the end of the year to see how well I did!

1.  Coordinate an amazing vacation with Walter
2.  Follow a savings plan
3.  Formulate a diet/exercise plan for healthier living
4.  Work without stress
5.  Visit out of town family
6.  Read a book a month
7.  finish decorating projects

That's it friends.....it's a long list but totally doable.  I'm confident.

Happy New Year!!!
