It's been awhile

It's been way too long since I've journaled. Sadly, it's just been so busy. But I have a lot to share.

My new job is going great. I'm a bit overwhelmed at all the new stuff I've had to learn, but it's going well. I learn more every day, and I am able to many of the tasks on my own. Still lots of questions.....

Little Dude, aka Loco, is getting big as you can see. He's just so darned cute. I can't believe how cute he is. He's growing so fast. He's 7, almost 8 weeks old.

My cousin passed away a few days ago. Just made me open my eyes. She was only 50 years old. It's just such a sad ending to a hard life. She deserved so much better than to die alone.

We all continue to do well. I am not sure about where things are between us. We're trying....but that's where it stands today. It makes me so sad to think that such a beautiful marriage could end so badly. I pray for a good outcome and pray that we can figure out how to make things work.

Dear Lord, thank you so much for all the blessings in my life; thank you for watching over me, and for sharing your love with me; in turn, I am able to love those in my life; Please take care of those who are far away from us; and help me grow stronger in my faith.....in Your loving Name....Amen.

good things that happened today: bought living room, dining room, and family room furniture; had a great breakast out; went shopping; drove through red rock and enjoyed the snow and beauty; relaxing evening at home.

1 Month Old Today!

I can't believe our little surprise puppy is a month old today. It seems like he's been here forever, yet I can't believe it's a month already.

We watched him being born, and have watched him move and open his eyes. He's getting around very quickly now, and cries when his momma leaves him. He's the cutest thing. What a blessing he's been.

Puppy breathe is the best....and when he barked for the first time, he scared himself. Made us all laugh.

In the next few weeks he'll be hard to keep in that little box, and hopefully we'll get to introduce him to the downstairs and outside. I can't wait.

Dear Lord, thank you so much for bringing Loco to us. He's been such a ray of sunshine and has brought so much happiness and laughter to our house. Please watch over us as I start my new job and let them see that they made the right choice. Blessings for our girls. In your Loving and Caring Name.....Amen.

Green Light!!

I got a call from my new boss yesterday......I do start my job on Monday!! Relief only begins to describe how I feel today.

I go to orientation the first day, and then start at the new place on Tuesday the 8th. I am looking forward to it.....not just getting out of this house, but we REALLY need the money. We both HATE having to go without......I don't mind sacrificing, but this is ridiculous.

I'll be working in the pharmacy intake department. It's not what I interviewed for, but I'm just glad to be working there. Knock on wood....things are moving in the right direction again.
